Entries open for the Insurance Fraud Awards 2013!

With over 2600 new fraudulent claims being uncovered each week, and many more going undetected, the fight against fraud is still a top priority for the insurance industry.

Great progress has already been made: initiatives such as the Insurance Fraud Register and Insurance Fraud Enforcement Department will undoubtedly help to stem the flow of fraudulent claims, building on the earlier great work of the Insurance Fraud Bureau and Association of British Insurers. But with the UK economy best described as sluggish and policyholder finances still being squeezed, insurance companies cannot take the eye of the ball with regards fraud, whether opportunistic or organised.

Now in their 5th year, Post's prestigious Insurance Fraud Awards recognise the efforts of those individuals and businesses within the industry who have done most to combat and prevent fraud. Bringing the anti-fraud community together for an evening of celebration and networking, this year's event will once again reward excellence, and encourage the spread of best practice, in this critical area.
